Rent a car in Morocco, with or without a driver
Drive yourself along the coast, or let a local professional handle the Atlas passes and desert tracks. Tell us your trip and we design the itinerary around the car, not the other way round.

Both work well in Morocco. The right choice depends on your route and how you want to travel.
| Without driver | With driver | |
|---|---|---|
| Freedom | Stop anywhere, change plans freely | Flexible, with local advice on every stop |
| Best for | Highways, coast, cities, confident drivers | Atlas mountains, desert, long days, families |
| Stress | You handle traffic, parking and police checks | Your driver handles all of it |
| Local knowledge | Maps and our itinerary notes | Driver shares stories, food and hidden spots |
| Budget | Lower daily cost, plus fuel and tolls | Higher daily cost, no parking or fuel worries |
Hybrid option: drive yourself between cities, and add a driver only for Tizi n’Tichka, Merzouga or the Dadès gorges.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an international driving permit?
Many licenses are accepted for tourists, but an international permit is recommended. Tell us your country and we confirm before you book.
How much is the deposit?
It depends on the vehicle and the insurance you choose. We give you the exact amount in your quote.
Is the mileage unlimited?
Most rentals include a generous daily allowance, and long trips can be set to unlimited. Ask us for your route.
Can I drive to the desert in a normal car?
Yes as far as Merzouga on paved roads. For tracks in the dunes we recommend a 4x4 or a driver.
Can I pick up in one city and return in another?
Yes, one-way rentals are possible between major cities. A fee may apply depending on the route.
Can the driver also act as a guide?
Yes. Our drivers know the routes and the best stops, and can be booked as driver-guides.
